Additional graphic design services, should they be requested, can be obtained at an hourly rate of $100/hour. Your Web site will be licensed for twelve months or one campaign cycle, whichever is longer.

What is a Content Management System (CMS)?

CMS, in simple terms, is Web-based software designed to allow users easy control of the content on their Web site without having to “touch” any page code. In other words, we liberate our clients to maintain their own site — no programmers required. The CMS that Netroot Campaigns provides allows anyone with basic computer skills to update text, photographs, video and audio -- 24-hours per day, seven days per week. Trust us, it’s easy.

Is it Hard to Use the Content Management System?

No, it’s easy; we promise. Netroot Campaigns is confident anyone on your campaign staff can use our CMS to keep your site relevant and up to date. The learning curve is short and the flexibility is priceless.

What if I Mess Something Up?

Mistakes happen. It’s part of life. We’ve created a handy, dandy “history” feature in our CMS. It allows users to “roll back” any page to a previous state. Relax, we’ve got your back.

Will You Help Me Get Started?

Of course. Each client will receive eight hours of “creative time” during which the first batch of graphics can be created for the Web site.

Can You Help With Domain Names?

We can, if you’d like. But it is easy enough to do and, in all honesty, you can save money by knocking that out yourself. We recommend using Go Daddy (www.godaddy.com) or Network Solutions (www.netsol.com) to register your domain name. There are many others, but we can’t vouch for those guys.

What if I Don’t Need Everything You Offer?

That is one of the great options with our CMS. When setting up your site, you can select the areas that you want to have available and visible on your site. You may not have any need to display video clips early in your campaign. No problem; don’t select that option in the setup of your site. If, in three months, you want to add video, go back and select the video option and it is instantly available to you. You are in control.

Can I Add Pages to My Site?

You will have the ability to add as many text-based sub-categories for any root-level section within the Web site. Although you cannot add any “top level” navigation, you can add as many sub-sections as needed.

How Long Does it Take to Go “Live?”

Depending on how much of the eight hours of design time you need, the only impediment to your site being up and running is how fast you can input your content into the CMS.
